Shaneeda Jaffer
Shaneeda is a Partner with the law firm Benesch Friedlander, Coplan and Aronoff where she specializes in financial crimes, regulatory violations, and compliance counseling. During her nearly 20-year career, Shaneeda has successfully defended corporations and individuals charged in criminal and parallel civil matters with allegations of fraud, AML violations, insider trading, antitrust violations, securities fraud, and other financial crimes. She also regularly conducts internal investigations related to financial, regulatory, and compliance issues for corporations, municipalities, and public agencies. Shaneeda holds a bachelor’s and a master’s degree from Stanford University and a J.D. from New York University School of Law.
